My husband, Joey, and I, Liza (pronounced "lie-ZUH") are stationed in Kadena AB. We got married in February 2008, and are ready to start our life together in the beautiful island of Okinawa, Japan!
I started this blog as a way to chronicle our adventures and to keep our family and friends back home updated with our lives. But first, get to know us ...
LIZA:
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA and am graduating from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in June 2008 with a B.S. in Pharmacological Chemistry. Moving to Okinawa would be the first time away from home, but I'm more than excited about the move!
JOEY:
Joey has lived all over the world! He's lived in Los Angeles, the Philippines, various places in Northern California (The Bay Area), Arizona, and San Diego - all before joining the United States Air Force. After tech school, he was stationed to Robins, AFB. Now it's Kadena AB!
LIZA & JOEY:
We met about five years ago when Joey lived in San Diego. It wasn't until a couple of years later that we got closer, which led to three years of dating, and then to marriage! We're excited for this new transition in both our lives and can't wait to share it with you!
